Puglia (Apulia) comes from the Roman A-Pluvia, which means without rain. This already says a lot about the climate. Mediterranean climate with very warm and dry summers and mild winters with limited precipitation.

-
Poor, red sandy soils rich in iron and lime.
- vinification
-
100% Primitivo. Part of the grapes are picked only at optimum ripeness and are dried briefly in "Frutai" to obtain more intensity and fruitiness. Then classic fermentation with regular transfer of the wine. Then the wine is bottled. Then follows a classic fermentation in large wooden barrels and it is further aged as a normal wine.
